CHALLENGE:
To manufacture Xblocplus moulds for the Ngā Ūranga to Pito-One section of the Te Ara Tupua project, aimed at creating a walking and cycling link between Wellington and Lower Hutt.
SOLUTION:
Kings Engineering undertook the precision manufacturing of Xblocplus moulds, crafted to withstand the demands of casting 7008 blocks for six seawall segments spanning over 600 metres.
OUTCOME:
The moulds produced by Kings Engineering played a critical role in the construction of the Te Ara Tupua project, significantly enhancing coastal resilience and transport connectivity.
